Children's Mental Health Week - May 3-9, 2015


Once again, we are celebrating Children’s Mental Health Week (May 3-9) with a series of public events to help you learn about children's mental health and some of the great resources available in the community.

Waterloo Region has many programs and services for children and teens struggling with their mental health.

Back by popular demand, we are holding our speakers' series on various mental health topics relevant to child and youth mental health.

Building Resilience in Your Child - Teaching Them Tools for Life - Monday May 4, 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.

Teen Suicide and Self-Harming Behaviour - Tuesday May 5, 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.

Supporting Gender Variant and Trans Children and Youth - Wednesday May 6, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
