Information for Community Partners

Since 1989, Lutherwood's Housing Services have helped individuals, couples, and families find and retain permanent, safe, and affordable housing across Waterloo Region. Lutherwood Housing Services is a group of related programs operating to reduce housing instability and homelessness within Waterloo Region. This includes Kitchener, Waterloo, Wilmot, Wellesley, Woolwich, Cambridge, and North Dumfries.

Individuals who are experiencing challenges related to finding and retaining safe, affordable housing can call 519-749-2450 or drop in to one of our two Resource Center sites located at 41 Weber Street West in Kitchener or at 35 Dickson Street in Cambridge to meet with a Housing Advisor.

Through working with a Housing Advisor, people are introduced to tools and resources to address their housing needs. Housing Advisors can also assess eligibility for those experiencing homelessness or at imminent risk of eviction for a loan and/or grant through the Rent Fund to maintain or secure housing.

We believe that collaboration with agency partners is an integral part of our vision to strengthen lives in our community and are always seeking to expand our partnerships within Waterloo Region to ensure more people can access and maintain the housing they need.
