Front Door: Access to Child and Youth Mental Health Services

Accessing Mental Health Services

When a child or youth is experiencing mental health, emotional or behavioural challenges, knowing where to get help may be confusing and stressful. Front Door provides a one-stop first contact for families and young people who are looking for assistance and services.

A partnership between Carizon and Lutherwood, Front Door welcomes families in a child and youth-friendly manner and acts as a central resource for families with babies, children and youth up to 18 years of age. In a safe, secure environment, we provide you with the opportunity to tell your story and get the support you need to take the next steps towards wellness.

When you call Front Door, you have the opportunity to talk with a trained professional who is knowledgeable about the challenges a young person may be dealing with, the stress a family experiences when a child/teen is coping with mental health issues, and the variety and range of services available for children/teens within our community and beyond.
