We have just the position for you! Dean Group has partnered with a top automotive manufacturer in Guelph and is now seeking 5+ MIG Welders for an exciting employment opportunity. If you have experience operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in addition to GMAW and SMAW processes, then this is the position for you!

These welding positions are a great opportunity for both current welders as well as recent graduates of welding programs looking to gain some workplace experience. We are looking for motivated individuals to fill both days and afternoons—straight shifts, no rotating!

Ticketed welders start at $22.89/hour. If you are un-ticketed or your tickets have expired we still want to hear from you—non-ticketed positions begin at $21.89/hourPlus a $0.50 shift premium for nigh and afternoon shift!

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
  • Fusing metal segments using both GMAW and SMAW processes
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Previous welding experience
  • Knowledge of production processes and welding equipment
  • The ability to read blueprints
  • Candidates must be in possession of their own welding equipment
  • A valid CWB ticket considered an asset
