Meet Danny*. He is 23 now. I first met him when he was 14 years old knocking on the door at Safe Haven.
Looking back, Danny* says, “I was a homeless child and that is worse than just being homeless. Anything can happen and anyone can get hold of you. The street is brutal, lonely and no place to live.”
But now, 9 years later he remembers how Safe Haven changed his life. “When I look back, I realize that Safe Haven is just that, a safe place where you can stop, clear your head and figure things out.”
