New to Canada? We can help you!

The secret to success is connections.

The Mentorship Program of Lutherwood brings together internationally trained professionals (ITPs) and trades people in Guelph-Wellington with local volunteer mentors in their field. Mentees will have the opportunity to gain a better understanding of the regional job market and professional practice in Canada, and establish valuable networking connections.

If you are new to Canada and want to use your previous experience to start your career in your new country, our program can help you. Learn more about the benefits of being a mentee and how the Mentorship Program can assist you in this journey.

Lutherwood Mentorship Alliance is a group of Canadian professionals and corporations that are involved with the mentoring of internationally trained professionals through Lutherwood's Mentorship Program. This is not just an opportunity to give back to the community, but a way to develop leadership excellence and strengthen coaching skills, to build inter-cultural competency skills dealing with diversity, and shape the future of the Canadian economy. You can join the Alliance as a mentor or a corporate mentor.

The Alliance also offers a number of special events, networking sessions and information sessions throughout the year. As a member of the Alliance, you will be invited to attend these and also may be invited to participate in additional events at Lutherwood and in the community to help you expand your network.

This program is funded by the Government of Canada through Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.
