There is not a one-size-fits-all service. That’s why in addition to the in-person employment services available at our 3 locations in Waterloo Region and Guelph-Wellington, we offer the flexibility and convenience of an online employment advisor. For more information about this option please visit our Online Employment Counselling page.

Job Development Assistance

Employment Consultants help eligible participants develop their skills and gain experience through supports such as:

  • One day job shadows
  • Short term job trials
  • Subsidized on-the-job training opportunities
  • Direct employment placements

Participants in this stream of service are identified through their work with an Employment Advisor.

  • Unemployed or working less than 20 hours per week
  • Not in full time education or training
  • Legally able to work in Canada
