Speed Interviewing

Practice, practice, practice.

In today’s employment world, it is more important than ever to have strong interviewing skills. If you are unsuccessful in your interview or fail to make a good impression, it could easily cost you an employment opportunity. For this reason, the Mentorship Program for Internationally Trained Professionals and the Job Search Workshop are offering a Speed Interview session on Monday, November 27, from 2 PM to 4 PM.

This event aims to improve confidence and teach you skills and techniques that will improve your interview performance. The only way to master your interview skills is practice.

We have invited a team of experienced hiring managers to be part of this activity and they will give feedback about your interview performance. Each manager will have 5 minutes with every participant, and will ask different questions, taking notes about your performance. Everyone will receive feedback once the interviews are finished.

Here is the list of managers that will be interviewing the participants:

Michelle Lee
Area Sales Manager - CIBC
Carla Berquo
Sr. Manager, Marketing Operations - UNITRON
Adam DeBuck
Human Resources Advisor - DANBY APPLIANCES

CIBC, UNITRON and DANBY APPLIANCES typically hire staff from different backgrounds, such as Financial Advisor, Customer Service Representative, Supply Chain Manager, Engineers, Production Managers, Business Developers, Marketing, Accountants, Quality Control, Digital Communications Manager and many others.

We have only 16 spots available. Only register if you are sure of your participation.

This is not a job fair or a hiring event. This is a practical activity to improve your interviewing skills.
