RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides a variety of services to children, adolescents, families and community agencies, such as assessment, consultation, individual therapy, treatment groups and intervention. Works in partnership with several different Mental Health Service agencies and Children’s Aid Societies in Waterloo Region and the County of Wellington. The primary area of focus will be completion of assessments and consultation regarding children and adolescents and/or their families referred for treatment or placement. Participates in research and program development.

EMPLOYMENT GUIDE:

A Doctoral degree and registration or eligibility for registration with the College of Psychologists in the Province of Ontario. The preferred candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience working with children and adolescents who are involved with multiple service providers. The ability to work within an agency with an interdisciplinary approach and a social learning/family systems orientation is required.  Encouraged to maintain membership within their professional association.
