Responsible for the streamlined operation of the IT Department in alignment with the business objectives of the organization. This individual will plan, coordinate, direct, and design IT-related activities for the organization, as well as provide administrative direction and support for daily operational activities of the IT department. They will work closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization. This person will also define and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices. Manages current and future RFP Processes to select, hire and manage vendor for long term relationship to building and implementing CRM system and any other agency software applications required to fulfill Lutherwood’s IT Roadmap.
A degree or diploma in computer science or computer engineering and/or 5 years related work experience. Certification in MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) is desirable and a certification in PMP (Project Management Professional with the Project Management Institute) is desirable. Strong technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems, including Microsoft Exchange, Hyper V, SQL, SharePoint and Server and cloudbased environment to support our agency in its transition. Strong technical knowledge of Azure Service Bus, Azure Data Factory and Azure SQL Data Warehouse as well as Microsoft O365 and Dynamics CRM environment with Power BI and AIP connectivity for key supplementary applications as we migrate to our target application landscape. Strong technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards. Proven experience in IT infrastructure planning and development using project management strategies and change management best practices. In-depth knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws is preferred. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong relationship skills and a talent for people development.
Required to carry a Lutherwood cell phone or equivalent. After hours work will be necessary due to project schedules, deadlines and/or reliability issues. A car in good working condition and a valid Ontario driver’s license is required.
