RESPONSIBILITIES:  Provides facility support to Luther Village on the Park by providing a clean, safe and comfortable environment. Controls, monitors and maintains building environmental equipment, life safety systems, building components, equipment, furnishings, vehicles and grounds.

EMPLOYMENT GUIDE:
High school graduation with knowledge of hand and power equipment. Certification required in one of the skilled trades, certified building operator, maintenance mechanic.  Ability to perform a wide variety of maintenance tasks using hand tools and power equipment.  Minimum of 3 years of successful experience of maintenance work in a commercial, industrial, educational or institutional setting.  Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, problem solve and work independently and as part of a multiservice delivery team.  Ability to relate well with people, particularly seniors.  Ability to communicate with people and be open to direction.  A passion for excellence in customer service.  Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
