Performs indoor housekeeping duties for both the life lease and assisted living facilities and resident units. Provides A la Carte services on a fee for service basis. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitized, safe and attractive environment in order to enhance the health and lives of residents at Luther Village on the Park.
Must have a minimum of Grade 10 education or equivalent and 3 years of related work experience. Must have the ability to communicate clearly with seniors and colleagues. Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, problem solve, work independently and as part of a multi-service delivery team. Capable of lifting cleaning equipment and supplies from floor level unassisted. Must also possess an ability to relate well with people and a maturity level that indicates and ability to provide exemplary customer service. Demonstrate empathy for the needs of the seniors’ population and their families.
