As part of the Food Services’ team, ensures that all dishes, glasses, silverware, pots and pans are cleaned and put away in an organized manner.
Acts as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and provides information regarding the services at Lutherwood. Provides a high level of customer service and administrative support to clients, staff and programs.
Employment Advisor/Employment Consultant
Assesses individuals to determine their employment barriers and assists them to secure and maintain employment, and/or pursue education or vocational training. Links clients into job placement and training programs to support job development and maintenance needs. Assists clients in exploring employment and career options, setting goals and developing employment action plans. Coordinates case management functions to ensure the clients successful transition into the labour market. Facilitates job search and employment preparation workshops as required.
Prospects and recruits employers and employment opportunities, matching clients with appropriate employers. Promotes clients to the employment community, identifying job leads and tapping into the hidden job market. Builds and maintains effective relationships with the business community to further employment opportunities for clients. Works as part of the wider employment services team to identify job leads and support effective employment options for clients. Provides coaching to clients to support on-the-job learning and job retention. Assist clients in orienting to the workplace and learning the job. Works with the employment team to collaborate and tailor job coaching to the needs of each individual client and employer placement. Supports clients to maintain positive employment relationships. Manages allocation and monitors incentive expenditures.
Tenant Transition Worker
Provides support to individual tenants to access appropriate housing and supports, as needed. Works with the Housing Services team and community partners to ensure a coordinated approach to housing services and supports. Provides housing outreach services to engage and link individuals with complex issues with services.
