January 24, 2011 - Lutherwood is hosting its first Speaker Series event on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at Cambridge City Hall from 1:00 to 4:00 pm in the Bowman Room. Three local employers will be speaking on the topic of Hope and Health in Employment Uncertainty. While the seminar focusses on people 40 years old and older, anyone is welcome to attend.
Tanya Morrell, owner of Integrated Health Solutions, will provide a first-hand account of her own employment journey and how she has overcome her unemployment and created success in self-employment.
Ryan Jantzi, owner of two successful manufacturing (machining and oil processing) plants in Cambridge, is a dynamic and impressive individual whose enthusiasm is contagious. He will speak about employment success for the older worker and his suggestions to promote health and hope when job searching and within the labour market.
Greg Durocher, Cambridge Chamber of Commerce President and CEO, a highly energetic motivational speaker and business professional, will speak about his role as a liaison with employers within Cambridge and North Dumfries and provide an account of what employers are saying about hiring the older worker.
