Zero2Six is a program providing services to families with children (0 to 6 years of age).

Our Program

Zero2Six offers an intensive home-based family support program that engages parents as equal partners in solving problems. An experienced Family Support Worker will come to your home to meet with you and learn about your unique family. Over a three to six month period, you and your Family Support Worker will work together setting goals, developing skills and practicing strategies to help you make desired changes in areas such as parenting, understanding child development and accessing community resources and services.

Approximately three times a year, we offer educational groups for parents and their children ages 3 to 6 years, which run concurrently. The focus of the Parent Group is to increase parenting skills and strategies, while the Children’s Group focuses on teaching social skill development, emotion management and problem solving. As well, in partnership with the Waterloo Region Ontario Early Years Centers, brief individual consultations and parenting workshops are offered to support parents experiencing challenges with their young children in such areas as feeding, bed time and understanding and managing behaviour.
