Intensive Support and Supervision Program (ISSP) is an alternative to custody program specifically designed for youth (12 to 18 years of age) whose significant mental health issues would be better addressed and the youth and family supported in a familiar home and community setting; rather than in custody.

Our Program
The Intensive Support and Supervision Program (ISSP) provides intensive individual and family therapy for youth with complex mental health issues who have been found guilty of an offence that would otherwise result in custody, but whose mental health issues are determined to best be addressed by home and community interventions. The ISSP is accessed as a term of probation to the youth (and supportive family) who agrees to participate in the 12-18 month treatment program. Working with a multi-disciplinary team, goals are developed and a treatment plan is put in place to address an individuals particular needs.
Our Treatment Team

"Thank you for all the help and support you have given our family. With the strength and courage you gave us, we were able to remain strong and pull through this ordeal. Our son has grown into a beautiful young man, exactly how we wanted him to be, although we never thought he could do it. He has proven himself to us and society. What a caring, loving person he has become! Thank you, you are always in our prayers and thoughts."
