Front Door

Accessing Mental Health Services

When a child or youth is experiencing mental health, emotional or behavioural problems, knowing where to get help may be confusing and stressful. Front Door provides a one-stop first contact for families and young people who are looking for assistance and services.

A joint initiative between kidsLINK and Lutherwood, Front Door welcomes families in a child and youth-friendly manner and acts as a central resource for families with babies, children and youth up to 18 years of age. In a safe, secure environment, we provide you with the opportunity to tell your story and get the support you need to take the next steps towards wellness.

Whether you need information by phone, help completing government forms, short-term counselling or a complete professional assessment, we can help.

Front Door Opens Doors

We have access to a wide range of treatment options and can help you find the most appropriate support and treatment services to address your individual needs.

An experienced and caring Front Door Worker listens to your concerns, answers questions and works with you to understand the unique needs of your family. We then see you through the entire process of getting help to ensure a continuity of care.
