Help us to raise $850,000 to fund Lutherwood Programs and Services this year. Together, we can help troubled children, youth and families develop strategies to face challenges and transform their lives. Your support will give them the skills and strength to face challenges that seem insurmountable. Lutherwood Child & Family Foundation fundraising year runs from April 1 to March 31.

 

The Foundation's funds are distributed among 3 different areas:

 

Your donated dollars support vulnerable children and struggling families dealing with their children’s behavioural, emotional and psychological challenges. Prevention, Community Based and Residential Treatment services are provided with fundraised dollars.

 

Community donations support Lutherwood’s Housing Action Centre. This service assists and supports children, individuals and families who are at risk of becoming homeless, find and keep affordable rental housing through:

 

Ongoing research and assessment of Lutherwood’s programs is necessary to ensure our goal of providing excellence to our clients and to the community. This is achieved, in part, by developing training partnerships with colleges and universities for student placements. The Foundation funds support the Volunteer/Student Resource Coordinator position.
