Older Worker Employment Search Support Continues

March 30, 2012, Waterloo – Today Lutherwood announced that it can again start accepting applications for its successful Targeted Initiatives to Older Workers program. TIOW is a joint federal-provincial initiative that provides unemployed workers aged 55 to 64 with support finding employment. Eligible participants receive skills upgrading, financial supports for training and associated costs, and placements with local employers.

Open Mic at Little Bean Coffee Bar Supports Youth Program

An Open Mic Night Fundraiser will take place on Thursday, March 1 at Little Bean Coffee Bar in Downtown Kitchener from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm. The cost is $5 per person, and donations will be accepted at the front door.

Gibson's Sound and Vision TV Donation

WATERLOO, January 5, 2012 – Lutherwood thanks Ed and Stu Gibson and the entire Gibson’s Sound and Vision staff for their generous donation of a 40” flat screen TV to our Safe Haven youth shelter.
