As part of this year's awareness building efforts for Children's Mental Health Week, kidsLINK and Lutherwood teamed up to put on a barbecue and prepare two radio spots in collaboration with Student Support Leadership Initiative. The BBQ was a great success with a very good turn out from neighbours and friends.

Sofia Hostetler and Bekah Dueck provided writing and two of the voices featured in the spots. Dramatic direction was provided by Allan Rudy-Froese. Chris Sellers of Lutherwood played the husband, Jacob Rudy-Froese played the child and Andrea Sharpe played the third youth. They aired three times a day on CHYM FM, KIX FM, and 570 NEWS during Children's Mental Health Week.
